writing has always helped me
gather thoughts and feelings
to figure our what to do
through challenges
or joyous times
I always found myself
in rhymes
When the words dry up
the mind becomes cloudy
storms brew unabated
rain falls from my eyes
confusion grows
and old age
consumes me as
hope fades
